Westgold Resources are now seeking an experienced Pre‑Delivery Coordinator to join our Perth Head Office within the Underground Mobile Maintenance team.



This role plays a critical part in ensuring our mobile equipment, rebuilds and major components are delivered to site fully compliant, correctly configured and ready for safe, efficient operation across our Westgold fleet.

This role will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will be located at Westgold's Head Office, with travel to site required from time to time.

About the Role

As the Pre‑Delivery Coordinator, you will act as the final assurance checkpoint for all new and rebuilt mobile assets before deployment to site. You will ensure each machine meets Westgold’s build specifications, statutory requirements, and quality standards, while coordinating the end‑to‑end pre‑delivery workflow in collaboration with vendors, logistics, and our Capital Projects Team.



Your focus will be on asset readiness, compliance, documentation accuracy and continuous improvement of Westgold’s pre‑delivery processes and standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre‑delivery inspections, readiness checks and verification on all incoming assets.
  • Confirm full compliance with build specifications, OEM requirements and statutory standards.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding documentation, ensuring audit‑ready records and traceability.
  • Identify, escalate and resolve pre‑delivery risks or defects promptly.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and logistics.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of maintenance documentation and standards.
  • Drive consistency and standardisation across Westgold’s mobile equipment fleet.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operational integration of all assets.



About You

Essential:

  • Mechanical maintenance experience within an underground earthmoving environment (5+ years).
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office; CMMS experience (Pronto or similar).
  • Effective communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exposure to budgeting, costing and fleet maintenance systems.
  • C‑Class driver’s licence.
  • Engineering trade qualification and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.



Desirable:

  • Experience with Pronto, INX, QLIK Sense.
  • Mining/resources industry experience.
  • Understanding of WHS legislation and OEM systems.
  • HR Licence (LF), First Aid Certificate, registered plant awareness.



Role Requirements

  • Ability to pass pre‑employment medical & drug/alcohol testing.
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months).
  • Willingness to travel/work at Westgold mine sites as required.
  • Ability to support campaign work including forecasting, projects and site visits.
  • Perth‑based | 5:2 roster with occasional site travel
